Default Viscous whitefish!

Me and Two friends headed out to snipe the other day. Have never had whitefish action like we had! "and i fish there ALOT". They were inhaling full jigs, 3" spoons, Frenzy rattlers, and anything else we threw at them! These whites weren't just nosing the lures, But engulfing them!

Landed dozens of hammer handle pikes, over 50 whites, 2 12lb pike and 3 big perch.

Kept the perch for frying, the two big pike and our limit of whites for the smoker.

When we cleaned the whites "some 6+lbs" they were full of 2-3" perch!!

I would have a ton of pictures...but my camera battery was dead

Man, and I thought the whites were being agressive when only one inhaled a walleye jig tipped with a minnow at Wab.

Wow, Snipe was actually GOOD for a change, this year?

Thats cool, where were you fishing from, the public campground or the south end?

I may have to head there on Sunday, if its been good lately, this whole winter has been SO slow there. Any tips you could offer?

Snipe was a great lake until it's name popped up on the Internet 3 or 4 years ago. It is still a great lake don't get me wrong but the increased pressure is defiantly noticeable.

Ha, i totally agree. But as you see it is almost a useless effort to try and change it, and most people dont have good luck out there. So i could care less nowadays.
