Default I need some pig skin asap.

Hey everyone.

I am looking for a place to buy some pig skin, as my regular butcher isn't able to fill my order this week, and I can't wait until next Wednesday.
I've called a few Butchers in Edmonton, but no one has pig skin right now.
Do you guys have any recommendations of places I can give a call to? I desperately need some for this week and don't mind driving a few if need be.

Thanks for any help!

Default Huh

I've never seen such a dire need for pig skin, and you have me curious...
What's a guy need pig skin on such a regular schedule for? Pork rinds?

Halloween Costume?

Clown suit at the cleaners?

This post effectively shows I don't have a clue.

I'm a tattoo apprentice, and practicing on pig skin. If I don't have any this week, it puts me a week behind schedule, hence the dire need.

Have you tried Costco? I have got whole pork belly from them before with skin on. You have to go in and ask for it though.

You can buy a side of bacon with the rind on at Skinners Meat & Sausage in Onoway.

I actually didn't think about Costco. I was more focused on butcher shops. I'll give them a call tho, thank you.

Well, this just got weird. Imagine the apprenticeship interview.

"So you are here to apprentice in S&M? Any previous experience in the field?"

"I have been practicing with Pig Skin for months now...."

Rocky meats in Rocky Mountain House kills pigs every Tuesday and cuts them Wednesday. They would have skin from loins and legs.

And I thought this was going to be about the NFL.
Don't know if your serious,OP, but Capital Meats in Edmonton should be able to supply you with fresh pigskin.
