Gotta do my part to help our fisheries, it's too bad this forum seems to have no standards when it comes to fish handling.

Waitaminute.......there's something fishy going on here. If his fingers are in the gills then who's fingers are showing on the other side of the fish?
Chub, you wouldn't be tricking us by pinching the gill plate between your thumb and the knuckle of your index finger would you?

Clearly those fingers are going THROUGH the gill rakers and out the otherside...I give that fish about a 9 pounds 8 ounces (9.8 pounds) chance of living. If I was a better fisherman I could would go catch a bull and show you EXACTLY how to hold it...
And clear your PM box I have written a novel on how to properly touch fish that I need to send you...

[QUOTE=Geezle;1332021]Great fish chubb! Bulls are one I have yet to cross of the list
As for much of the rest of this thread, it seems as though a lot of folks are getting the cabin fever and need to get outdoors themselves from time to time.[QUOTE]

Wow! First thread I read since last Friday. Had a great weekend on the ice. Looks like you did too Chubb. Thanks for sharing.
