I just realized that the 5 teams remaining (Detroit, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles) are the last 5 Stanley Cup Champs.
so who is going to win tonight, chicago or detroit? hoping for detroit but dont think that is the smart money

Torts is fired. I'm not sure why you get fired after losing a series to the Bruins. Even though I'm not a Bruins fan, they are a very good team and I don't think the Rangers could measure up to them with their lineup. I'm getting sick of seeing coaches take the fall for their teams failures. More GM's and players should be held accountable.
I hope Detroit wins tonight too, not sure it will happen though.

It's a good thing that Chicago won after that goal was disallowed! What was the referee thinking to make that call? I can see possibly making a call on the Detroit player but what the heck did the Chicago player do......nothing. Anyway, it worked out for the best and we got to watch some overtime.

I think it was because they played a system unsuited to their personnel and lundquist would not commit to long term
