They have multiple blades but the Alaskan Blade traders were nice. You could deal with the whole animal bone sawing and all with one knife

The handle was fabricated with a material called "Juma". It is a high grade modern raw material, and excellent for knife handles. It actually looks like snake skin once finished. The color is "Magma Dragon", which is orange. Great color for the ones that lay their knives down and can't find them after until an extensive search...lol
Pins are Black G10, and made a black Kydex sheath for it.
This puppy will be in the Buy and Sell soon...

This one is going in the youth giveaway. Made from a planer blade, likely D2. Zircote handle with brass and Wenge trim.

Well all this knife talk got me wanting to try out a new knife. I went and ordered this little beauty from Alberta's own Clint Chisan. Should be here soon.

Fantastic design, looks very similar to my Chisan custom. What steel did you go with? It looks amazing with those dark antler scales

That’s a beauty. Congrats.
Something tells me that Dan Crotts’ sales in the prairie provinces are gunna take a real feces-kicking
I am really looking forward to Pathfinder’s thoughts on his when he gets it in hand and slits a bear open.

Thanks.
I think that you may be right but I doubt that it will affect them (Crotts and Dozer) but I like the idea of supporting local especially when the quality is there.

"One Knife to rule them all" if there is such a thing....
This is a new knife that I have coming from Clint Chisan. Its already shipped and with be here on Monday, such is life I am away for work until Wednesday, so won't get to hold it until then. This is a knife that Clint made for me on request to specs that asked for. I am very appreciative that he was willing to do this for me and for what I would consider a very reasonable cost from a custom knife maker. After many years of trying to find the perfect all around knife, this one should have all the attributes that I believe are the ideal. Compromises and preferences considered to the design of a knife that is what I refer to as being an "all around" knife" for camping tasks, bushcraft and of course hunting to field dress, skin and process big game.
I hope these pictures upload.
