that chart is for white sturgeon ours are lake sturgeon. if the store sold you jigs for sturgeon go give them back they burned you. I had a chart for Alberta lake sturgeon length/weight and its useless, every fish weighs different, not all the same length fish have the same girth, not ever
other than that, have fun and good luck, best fighting fish in the province

Pay attention to this post. If Wayne says that chart is wrong for our fish then it is wrong. Over 600 Sturgeon caught says a lot.

Take the jigs back and tell the guys we have the lake sturgeon in Alberta.
