I pilot link trolling motor

Looking to upgrade from and old Motorguide 12 volt , 52”

I think the ipilot link is a must from what i see will go24 volt. I dont have room gor 36 volt.

Terrova , ulterra and ultrex.

Seems everyone yaps about stupid stuff on youtube. So i thought id ask here.

Pros & cons ?

The ipilot came with my Lund when I bought it in 2015. I absolutley love it. It works great for all applications. I use the anchor feature alot. It will try and keep you over a spot when you are fishing. My Lund is a 1775 so if the water gets rough it won't keep you anchored over a honey hole but as long as the water is not to rought it works great. Mine has 2 batteries and I have never ran out of power. The remote that comes with it is very easy to use and is waterproof and floats if you should happen to drop it in.

Nice to see that its waterproof that was a concern.

I have a Helix 7G2n and a 999 hdsi so something should work with this ipilot link.

The auto launch and stow on the ulterra is worth it. It integrates well with my Helix 7 SI G2N. I use the spot lock all the time

The follow contour and spot lock is features i like.

Can the Two more expensive ones be manual or are they 100 % automatic ?

Ulterra and Ultrex that is.

There is no tiller handle on the Ulterra. It is steered and speed controlled from the foot pedal or remote or i-Pilot link if that is what you mean. You need lakemaster maps for contour following and I’m not sure they support alberta lakes. Contour does not work with Navionics+ contour maps.

Thanks guys. Not looking for a tiller handle but yes to follow contours automatically.

Have a zerolines card already too.
