Default Sunday on the lake

Woke up with a migrane, so I didnt make it to Travers today, so we checked a couple local lakes , first was way too windy, the second a bit more sheltered so we decided to set up the tent. As we were opening it an insane gust of wind came through and flattened it. Im impressed with the Subzero again, 2 poles came out of the sockets but thats an easy fix, and one corner grommet tore out, fixable too. I was surprised the access road as well as the lake access were drivable, helps that the neighbor who fishes it has a front end loader and cleared it out. Slowish afternoon, but did manage to ice a couple keeper pike. Watched one on the camera as it took my bait once, then again as I was jigging the line by hand to line the camera back up, got to love the feeling as they rip it out of your hand, then the third time finally managed to hook it up, right in the lip.

Default and the crazy storm system that went by

Amazing view, looked like it started as chimney smoke almost, and stretched out into quite a storm south of us.
