Default Millers lake

Looking to start tying up on chironomid patterns for this lake. What size and color are you guys seeing in the spring to early summer. Or even some successful pattern names. Thanks.

Too bad that the lake w/killed.If you are a facebook follower John Kent gives a tie for Millers. It has it's similarities,go to a you tube sxs by Brian Chan.He tied a brown chironomid for a function at NLFTYERS ..

Here's an interesting read about some other lakes that may winter kill http://www.ab-conservation.com/go/de...ration-update/

How ridiculous. At risk of manslaughter charges if someone drowns in an open hole on a marked aerated lake. Personally I consider this evolution. Good riddance poor gene pool.

Guys,

Read the list closely. You will notice that the NW of Alberta, Alberta Environment and Parks ran the surface aeration equipment. Hinton, Edmonton and the Rocky areas did not. Also notice that other organization and municipalities ran the equipment.
Also, none of the town or municipal Govts shutdown their sewage aeration systems.
If fact the bulk of the issues with aeration reside with the ACA & AEP.
There was a Govt Policy that was issued to protect aeration users. Hinton, Edmonton and Rocky Fisheries chose to ignore it.
