Default Calling Report

Went out on Sunday to the Tower. Met up with Mike W, his dad Doug, and Jason. Jason had a sled thank god. It was pretty wet, no one driving on, I walked out about 200 yards, through ankle deep slush. Wind was howling. I had the first hit on a orange Wetaskiwin with a minnow, missed it, then it went dead. i switched to a Chartreause Swedish Pimple and missed a few. Changed to a chartreause Krockodile and landed one at 47 and had a couple more hits. Doug switched over to a Krock in silver blue and landed one just at 45. Jason had an oversize, but then I had to leave to deal with cabin issues. Caught up with the guys later, and they did have some more hits and fish. Conditions were tough with the weather change, and the fish wanted fast jigged spoons, and the bite was lite. Mike, Jason and his dad where great company and I really look forward to more trips with them. Thank you Jason for the sled ride.
