Default What do you think of these

I recently started painting crank baits. I just re-painted this 23 dollar rapala that got beat up by the pike this year. Wondering what you fine folks think of it. I call it Psycho Clown perch

Looks better than my first airbrushed lure. The more you mess with an airbrush the better you get and over time develop your style

Best advice I would give is have a good quality airbrush, correct nozzle size for the paint you are using, and keep your airbrush clean

I am an OK painter but there is guys who are amazing out there

I am using the Iwata neo and revolution. Because I run a lot of pearls that clog smaller nozzles and do large baits I need one with a larger nozzle. I have the smaller one for detail. I also do some detail with sponge, brush and a few other random tools

Lots of tricks out there depending on what you are trying to accomplish

I have never done the painting blanks thing but I know it’s extremely popular. Painting for myself was more of a necessity for my lure building

I think they all look great. I don't have the patience to do that fine detail work. Well done.

Hey Smoky could have used some of those this week. LOL I can wait.
The Pike at CVR were hitting the colours mostly on the left and the Walleye were all over the right side. Especially the top right. Sunny days. Is that a bait keeper on the back with the rubber twister tail?
