Default Little Shuswap Lake

I’m thinking about making a trip out with my wife and a couple friends next year for a few days and having a go at salmon fishing in little Shuswap. I’ve heard it’s tough fishing there which I’m okay with. What can a guy expect in that lake?

A few years ago I was fishing the little Shushap in late August, trolling along the north shoreline straight north of Chase. Using a ford fender gang troll with a silver K5 kwikfish wobbler about 3 feet behind the gang troll. No extra weight on the line.

A good tug and 25 minutes later I landed a salmon that was a little over 12 lbs.. I was by myself and using 8 lb. test so it took me a while. It was a silver bullet of a fish. There are some decent dolly's, rainbows and lake trout to be had too.
