Default Chain Lakes Help.........

Hi All,

Well its been some time since i posted here..........it's great to be back! I'm taking some out-of-town friends ice fishing over the holidays and was going to take them to Chain Lakes. I have a couple questions please. Which end is best to fish? (Southend or Northend), Is there trout still or just white fish? What set-up is best used out at Chain? I use to uses a pickerel rig with velveta cheese which work great but not sure if it still works.

Thanks for your help and replies!!!

Hi Last year I used corn, my buddy used velveta. We fished south end and caught a few trout in a couple hours.

Which chain lakes? South of longview? If your talking south of longview, cheese or worms is your best bet. Any hook will do, 18 feet of water. Anywhere on the lake as they stock it with 1000000 trout.
