Vermilion river question

i wanna know if the fish go up it from where it meets the nsr.

i know they do a lettle but how far wouldl they go up iv tried a few miles up with no succsess fro jack walleye suckers

and about when would they go up the river srping fall high water low water? help appreciated thanks
