Default Gull today

Pretty slow day, but it was warm out so it wasn't too bad. Lots of people out, not many fish caught though. Pretty well nothing for ling action but a few whites. Pike were far and few between, the fishing has really slowed down in some spots. Highlight of the day was a 36" 9.5 pound pike I caught on a tip up. Very skinny, girth was under 15". Line broke in the hole and I got wet landing it but oh well, got the fish. Got the whites on unbaited yellow wire worms.

How were the driving conditions at brownlows and beyond, if you were out that way?

Me and a friend entered on brownlows landing 2 days ago on monday and it was a bumpy ride, but if you stay on the trail you wont get stuck. We did horrible there, fished all day and got a pike and 2 ling. Not a single white.

Nice fish. how big were the burbot? The main thing I am worried about is the clearance in the middle of the track because our vehicle does not have very high clearance and the snow was packed down pretty hard in the middle last time I was there. Also did the burbot seem fairly close to spawning or do they still have a couple weeks to go?
