This might be a shot in the dark but are there any forum members that work for Suncor at the Firebag site. I have a buddy that is applying up there and wants some info on the job.

i did my time out there. if your in a good camp its good. if your in a garbage camp its hell on earth. the work itself on the plant, i cant complain. you sign in and out, wear your gear and guys leave you alone. i worked there over the weekend once and they paid us 10hrs ot plus 4hrs dt on friday then 16 hrs dt each saturday and sunday. cant complain about that kind of money!!

I take it you were in the construction side? My buddy is looking for an operator position.
