Default Badger lake ice?

Has anyone been out to Badger lake lately? Im just looking for the latest ice info and what areas of the lake.

Was out yesturday. About 24 inch of ice on west side. Pretty much No snow on ice.

Badger is closed. Ice could be 30" of the clearest strongest ice imaginable, lake is still closed.

I thought I just read on another thread that it was open til end of the month. I guess I`ll just check the regs to be safe.

Dang. I guess I shouldn't believe everything I read.

Badger Reservoir
May 8 to Mar. 15 – Pike limit 3 over 63 cm; Walleye limit 3 over 50 cm; Perch limit 15; Lake Whitefish limit 10.
Mar. 16 to May 7 – CLOSED
