Well said Tom, your last few posts mirror the defense strategy that our local range has implemented and our membership should be appreciative that these are in the club minutes in the years ahead. I do feel for the urban shooting community, they enjoy the same sport we do and if they don't get organized and secure some territory ASAP then the sport shooting opportunity for the next generation will only be for a very select few and a memory for most. This is a great thread lets keep it constructive guys. Regards D.Henry.

You can pick up a membership form at the home hardware in Trochu.

Regarding Trochu rifle and pistol range.. I was told FMJ's are not allowed..

I can understand steal core.. Why not FMJ's??

All my 9mm are jacketed.. Or is this only for rifle rounds?

I just spent a week at Tolman, great little range they got there. There was a large backhoe building a Burm so you can't see the range entering the campground now. It was a great week kicked up on the bank with the gun fire singing a song across the way. The wife and I got in a good discussion about firearms, I told her there's probably more hand guns in this campground than you could shake a stick at right now and she disagreed with me. We left it at that
