Default Jetboats/guiding question......

Any demand for jetboats for transporting guides/hunters and there clients to and from there hunting locations?
Just thought I'd ask.

I am asked continually to run guys up the rivers in the fall, and either drop them off then pick them up on sunday or take up a canoe and let them float down.
However, to do it as a business involves a lot of overhead.
it is viable though, I have freinds who do it.

Lots of guys in BC running jetboat companies, though you dont hear of many in Alberta being advertised.

I think its viable as Cat says....and I have heard of a couple guys doing it on the side. Worth looking into some more, with the proper advertising, etc you might get a pretty good workload for moose and elk hunts....

There wqas an outfitter up here doing it for years, but he did not renew his lease for the dock area he uses this year, IIRC.
Gunslinger should be able to give you some info on operating costs, he runs a gate mouthed jet that can haul quads.

Hey CB
I know of a group up your way that could use this type of service, what are you doing in mid-October?? But it would be a deal very similar to what Brown Bear was talking about. I will bring all the ribs, steak and deer sausage you can eat and keep the beer for myself, deal

Sorry I know, not much help am I, sorry buddy! DR
