Default Suffield Elk and CWD

Lads

Did we all have our elk tested for CWD from the base this year...?

Any one hear of any of them testing positive for CWD.?

No word yet for me. I was in the second week hunt. 2 cows harvest and heads turned in.

I’m glad this thread started, I was wondering the same.
I also submitted 2 cow heads; from the Feb 3-5 hunt.
No word yet.

You might have to wait a bit, I have a buddy who turned in his deer back in November, nothing yet.

I'd guess with this corona virus.. Labs are maxed out testing those samples. I bet we don't hear back about the heads for a long while.

Well,
Funny timing, but I just got the results of 1 of my 2 cow elk from the Feb3-5 Suffield Hunt.....Negative.
Still waiting for 1.
Came as an email from no_reply@albertarelm.com

Pretty impressed with that timing to be honest.
I’ll let you know when the 2nd test comes back.

it was a 1% chance last year, don't see how that could have sudden;y jimped to 20% .....?

Curious, I will be going for my Antlered Elk in Suffield for one of the two early November dates. Can I have 3 friends hunt with me. (They won't have tags in there). Thanks
