Dear Mossberg, Duck Dynasty, and the CFO. You kinda suck.
So now due to the new duck dynasty 715p, 22lr pistol mossberg is pulling all the 25 round magazines for the 715, as they will be prohibited, as per a letter from Mosberg themselves.
So because they choose to not change their marketing or stamping a P on the package of the 10 round magazines, they are prepared and willing to turn thousands of magazines into prohibited devices.

I own several pistols that originally come with a high capacity magazine. Mine just have to be pinned to 10 rounds. SO why will this be any different?

Maybe I'm ignorant, but what does that have to do with Duck Dynasty? Or DD just put their name on it?

This is turning the 25 round rifle mags to prohibited because the pistol uses the same one.

at least ruger went through the hoops and got the magazines marketed differently, Mossberg is just throwing us under the bus.
I know its our laws fault, that a magazine thats been for sale for 2 years before the pistol was designed will now be prohibited until pinned and verified, but still, wish they would show some support for their up north customers.

I understand that, but that is just an odd interpretation of our laws by our government. If you own a firearm then you should know what is legal for that firearm. The government should just punish those who break the law, instead of punishing everyone one for fear they may break the law.
Oh right, I forgot, we live in Canada, and all gun owners are potential criminals.
