To me Queen isn't Queen without Freddie, but I'm sure it would be an enjoyable concert if you were / are a Queen fan. I think it would be like seeing a tribute band.

It's not in your poll, but I feel the same way as I did about the original Queen, meh. Never really cared for them.

Not really sure about Adam Lambert (American Idol ?...never watched it). Freddie was a pretty big part of Queen, but then so was Steve Perry of Journey, and their new singer does an awesome job. (great show/documentary on netflix about them btw)

If he's got the Mercury chops then they should be GTG. If not, meh.

Don't **** with Queen.

The wife asked if I wanted to go and I said no thanks.

Adam is a decent singer, but not even in the same league as Freddie.

Just isn't right without him.

There can only be one Freddie. Simple as that.

But, with that being said, Adam Lambert is an amazing vocalist. I happened to watch that season of American Idol, and near the end, the contestants did a song with a band. Adam sang with Queen, and it was simply amazing. Otherwise, they would not have asked him to join them.

The show must go on as they say. Adam is a great fit to honour Freddie!

Cheers

I googled their show with Lambert. Not sure about him as their front man but who can compare to Freddie, I would like to hear the music live though. Depends on ticket prices and I suspect they will sell out in seconds so joe blow wont even have a chance anyway.

The wife talked me into going to the show in Calgary. I'll let you know how it was. I think it's June 26th.

Ambivalent. I saw Queen once, though I was never a hardcore fan. Enjoyed them, and their music does bring back memories. I won't bother seeing them this tme, but I'll freely admit Adam Lambert is the first and pretty much only guy one thinks of if there HAS to be a replacement for Freddie. They guy is pretty talented and has many of the same qualities as Freddie, beyond just the sexuality.

Not big on the Queen, but gotta give Charles credit for comparing Putin to Hitler.

Perfect answer! Adam Lambert truly is an amazing vocalist. He isn't replacing Freddie. He's the guy singing lead for Queen in this tour. You won't be disappointed if you go see it with a mind set of just hearing Queen music in a live setting.

'The show must go on'...that's a queen song...from innuendo...the last album released just before Freddie's death.

No better showman than Freddie. I would not go if it was Adam Lambert, what you have to be gay to sing for Queen?

I don't think one guy can carry Queen Freddie had too much range.

Would love to see Axel do all the hard stuff and can't decide on the rest.

Do you guys remember Axel and Elton John doing Bohemian Rapsody at the queen tribute concert. If not google it awesome! Now that is energy!

I will call Axel and get back to you guys.
