Why in the world would people flee extremists and run to those who inspired(fund, support and encourage) them? Did Polish Jews flee the Nazis by becoming refugees in Bavaria?
Oh, just for your information a Syrian is not a Saudi Just like an Englishman is not a German, though they're both Christian Europeans. "Their very own people" is such a misguided uninformed statement to make considering the realities of middle eastern politics and the sunni/Shia conflict.
