Default Quest Drive

I'm interested in getting a Quest Drive bow, does anyone have one of these or any recommendations?
This would be my first compound bow so I'd like to get a good one first instead of buying a cheaper one and just upgrading later on.

Never heard of them.

If you want to go straight to a quality hunting bow and skip the 'starter' (which you will wish you never bought in about 10 months) look at a Hoyt Spyder, APA Mamba or Viper, and Matthews Creed or ZXT.

You will spend about as much as a decent rifle but they will serve you very well for many years.

Unless you get the archery bug bad....then you will be buying one every couple of years LOL.

Quest is all about making quality bows for a fair price. Quest is owned by g5 who is big in the bowhunting industry. I was looking at the prime bows (also owned by g5) but in the end bought another hoyt. Hard to beat hoyt in my opinion. Shoot them all see what ya like.

Quest gets a bad rap as a low end bow .... but they shoot well ... try them out.

I still have my PSE entry level bow from 13 years ago, so upgrading every 5 years isn't necessary.

Quest is a nice bow at a fair price. Shoot it and see what you think.

I believe a lot of the technology in the Quest and G5 bows came from the Ross bow company, which I think Ross was bought by Bowtech.

The Quest Q33 is basically the same bow as the Ross Cardiac....which was regarded as an excellent bow.

My wife and stepson both have Quest bows and they are quite decent value for the money.

If a bow fits you and you shoot it well and it gets the speed you are happy with, don't look at the price tag.

Default Drive

Higher end bow for a middle of the pack price , this bow is an excellent shooter , draw curve is smooth and the back wall is just like the Prime and has one of the best factory strings you can get ,can't go wrong with the Drive.

Last year I shot a Quest Rev and this year a prime. G5 (Quest & prime) makes very good bows at a good price. If the bow fits you I'd grab one. You won't have to worry about quality with any G5 stuff. if it doesn't fit keep looking as there are plenty of good ones out there these days.

Check this article out.

http://www.fieldandstream.com/articl...pound-bow-2013

Not the latest, but likely several on the racks, new and maybe get a deal before the 2014's hit the street.

The Elite is an intriguing bow. Bowtech got top ranking in this review.
