If you're talking about the Wabamun Sailing Club (there are two others on the lake) at the bottom of RR 43 on the north side of the lake, Parkland County has a small launch and parking lot there at the end of the road beside the club. The launch is shallow with a muddy bottom and not recommended for big boats. Best for car-toppers, canoes or kayaks.

That's the one at the end of RR 43.

Others have already mentioned the launch just to the west of the club, personally I use the marina for my launches or go to Seba.

The sailing club doesn't let non-members use their launch or park on site. I used to be a member there and they were pretty tight on space back then.

It looks like a public area with a toilet there. How can they not let you park there ? At least the winter it’s accessible ?

It's a shallow launch with a muddy bottom. I've seen a few trucks stuck pulling out bigger boats there. If you got a small boat, kayak, canoe, have at it, but I wouldn't be launching a big boat there. Parking is tight as well.

There is a parking lot at the launch but it's small, maybe 6 vehicles max., less with trailers. Otherwise it's park on the road and then you don't make the neighbors happy. But the launch is cheap and ideal for small boats. As mentioned, boat trailers can be an issue in the mud.

Also, good access to the lake in winter.

No, it's now $20 per day. There are other options. Go to: https://wabamun.ca/waterfront-park/
for more info.

Boat launch access is an issue on the lake. Parkland County is going to reopen the launch on the south shore, next to the Sundance Power plant, sometime in 2020 or '21.
