I was in 408 on a whitetail tag. After seeing a good buck waving goodbye on the first day of bow season, I never saw another.

Default 410 Ram

I managed to kill this guy in 410 on November 29! My 14th day on the mountain. I'm in the process of writing up the story to post on my blog and I'll share a link for you guys/gals. It was a dream come true as I shot him at 15yards!

great job and way to stick it out to the end, its a tough hunt especially the mental aspect of being out there for weeks on end.

Default 408 Ram

Nice ram, Awesome. I was also fortunate to be drawn in 408 and was successful on November 26, 2013 with a 18 yard shot with my bow. Quite the challenging hunt.

Post 410 Hunt

My understanding is that Pigeon was free from outfitting this year. Made for a higher quality hunt there for sure!
Cougar and Exshaw are still locked up on the passes by outfitters. Resident tags are down this year, which makes for a better hunt; however, the outfitter allocations should then also come down...

What do you mean locked up? Public land is first come first serve is it not?

Meaning, outfitters are camped most, if not all of the season on the top of the drainages, in the saddles, where most of the sheep pass in and out of the zone.

no luck for me and my dad. Seen lots of legal ones just to close to the highway hah. Had a borderline ram at 30 yards but was just to close to make the call. I did witness a cougar kill a ewe 40 yards from me! Got it all on video!!!
