Default First bow

I have only hunted with a rifle for the last five years and am looking to start with a bow for next season. Can you point me in the right direction of where to shop for a bow. I have been to Wholesale Sports so far. I did like the Bear Empire, it felt comfortable, but would really like to educate myself before making a purchase.

Where are you located? that way people will be able to send you to the best archery shop in your area.
My only advice as there are a ton of great bows out there, is to go shoot several before settling on one. Good luck and enjoy.
If you are in Calgary or close I highly recommend Jimbows.

Default Bows

In calgary buy from jim bows or the calgary archery centre and you'll get service after the purchase. Buy from wholesale or any other store and you're on your own as far as service goes.

Go to sherwood park archery lanes. Talk to Dallas he will be able to hook you up. I just bought a prime off him in the summer.Couldnt be happier with that bow.
