Hey everyone. Any recent updates on the boat launch? Was there mid April and saw launch pads pushed up together. Curious if the pads were pulled out for the time being so boaters could still launch?

Was there today. Saw Alberta Parks guys talking with a dive team and heavy equipment operators, they said they are just waiting for the water work permit from the Government and they are ready to go. Could be done in a week or two.
you can still launch a boat at McGregor. right side is messed up but left side is ok. lots of boats out this weekend. Mine is an 18ft crestliner.

This is what the fix looks like. The left side will be tricky for larger boats. Backing in will be kind of like threading a needle.
When we launched, I could give hand signals to the driver to keep the trailer centered. When we were leaving, it was a bit trickier for the driver as I was in the boat.
If you like watching people having 'adventures' while backing up a trailer, this could be a real hot spot. Hopefully they are not finished with the repair.
