Default Barrhead area perch fishing

I'm new to fishing in the Barrhead area, looking to catch some perch. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not looking for specific fishing holes, just general advice on which body of water is best. Dock and shore fishing is all I'm able to do currently.

I don’t think thunder lake has any fish in it now. To bad it was a good lake.
