Fish like that are common across the valley in Minnewanka where there is forage (fish) for the Lakers to eat.

At Spray, this is, truly, a very rare fish of outstanding size for that lake as the forage there is significantly different.

Really nice to see Grampa and his Granddaughter out fishing - that is truly the gem in this story.

That's a nice fish for that lake. I've fished that lake for over 30 years . Biggest I've caught was about 8 lbs ice fishing back in the mid 90's .

The most enjoyment I get out of fishing is seeing kids catch the big one. More often they have more luck than I do.
