Default Lost Guide Lake

Anyone ever hike in there to fish? I'm wondering how long it takes to get there and if it's worth the trip.

Thanks

Well worth the trip we went in the back side from Ranger creek on horse back we were hunting in that area and we wernt seenig any sign. the wolves had chased all the elk into the park so i spent 2 days riding into lost guide lake an casting a line. its a beautiful spot i caught 8 or ten trout a day i think you can keep 2 it took us on horse back 3 hours to get to our camp then another 2 hours or so to lost guide but we ran into a guide out for a horse back ride with a bunch of german people and if i remember correct if you come in from the 420 side its a 3 hour walk/ ride in there. if you get a chance definatly go, its like a little oasis in the middle of the mountains great spot. fyi We were catcing the trout on rooster tails a black one i belive was the ticket.
