Default Found an older book about Alberta hunting

Last night while getting my new reloading area established I tackled all my boxed reloading and hunting books to reshelve. Forgot I had this one and remember it being very interesting about Alberta’s hunting history by Jack Ondrack. Was ordering if anyone else has read it? Seems to be pricey now..

I have a signed copy in my library. Great book with good insight. His comments on locating certain species is somewhat out of date, given the growth of the province and whatnot, but it's still a good read.

He has boxes of them sitting in his garage - no shortage, that's for sure. I've heard that Wholesale Sports has them in stock, in some AB stores.

Jack's a real gentleman - a true scholar and outdoorsman. They don't make 'em like him anymore, it doesn't seem.

I have a copy and it's got some interesting stuff in it. Years ago F+W wanted to have a look at it ,but I figured I wouldn't get it back.

Amazon.ca always has prices way out to lunch. I would like to know how many people are actually buying the book for that price.

There are lots of copies around. I would say that $15 to $20 is a fair retail price with a dustjacket.
