He didn't say that the person was innocent, he questioned the officers actions, there is a difference.

Charges get dropped all the time. Doesn't mean officers are guilty or innocent either.

This isn't a correct statement. The Crown didn't give a version, a very greasy defense lawyer did.

Right now the Crowns office is withdrawing all sorts of charges due to the system being overwhelmed beyond reason because of covid.

This type of file would be one of the victims of that issue. It's also why no one is being kept in jail and crime is on the rise. Lots more to it.

This makes me want to vomit.

Lots of things on Rebel that I have enjoyed and found informative. Not this one, and the kids story does not match their very healthy go fund me offering at all.

Ridiculous.

Obey the police people.

Looks to me like the kid could of been a little more compliant and the cop a little less heavy handed, sounds like they could of both handled things a little better. But that's going off the scraps of info, I'd like to hear all three sides of this story.

The charges were dropped because of how far behind the courts are due to covid.

A friend was dealing with an impaired that he got just before covid that they just dropped. Pretty much no explanation. Too busy, charges dropped.

It would appear that the people of Canada see one cause is greater and are seeing fit to help the most worthy cause. The people have spoken.

The Go Fund me is at $74,000 and the charges have been dropped. I wonder if that makes it worth the whole ordeal happening for him.

Call it what you want, take it or leave it, the fact is the guy was armed, intoxicated and terrorizing a good family who worked for a living and were at their home when a group of armed criminals unlawfully entered their property with intentions of robbing them. The good guy shot the bad guy, no pitty from me. The guys parents should be charged for the entire legal costs imo.
