Default Pine Coulee

We did our last hard water to Pine Coulee today. Burbs were biting like crazy. Brought home 20 and stopped fishing at 8:30 as we ran out of bait. Caught a bunch of wallys this aft as well. Be careful if you are heading out this next week. Ice auger went through like soft butter. Only good thing was it was froze pretty solid from the recent cold spell. With warm weather coming it may be a bit dicey as it is starting to melt out from the edges if you head out for some late action . We drove out slowly today but figure we are probably done until we launch the boat. Awesome way to end the ice season.

Default Ice

Measured 23"on the stick. Lots of ice but falling apart quicly. I think the only things that saved this week so far was last weeks deep freeze. Was like a slurpee that had been refrozen. Walking should be ok but driving maybe not real soon. The other issue it is starting to melt out at the edges. Don't want to have to wade or swim back to shore. Did that once too. Learned a big lesson on edges melting out.
