Smile spring

Sure nice seeing the longer days we are getting now. Surely green grass can't be too far away!

I saw 2 lonely geese standing in the middle of a frozen pond on my way to Calgary today.....kind of felt bad for them. They seemed to be thinking "I thought only gesus could do this?" (geese....gesus....get it? lol)

I haven't seen any geese yet myself, though I can tell that the first signs of spring are here. I don't if it's just me though, I can smell this distinct fresh smell in the air when spring arrives.

I have also been noticing that the days have been getting alot longer and the sunlight intesity has been increasing.

Likely, if they were out standing on the ice on one of the ponds looking sheepish.......stuck out like sore thumbs.

Default spring

I saw/heard them yesterday then instinctly looked up. Of course my immediate thought was "One of them is probably gonna crap on me"
But it was nice to see three big greys`. I couldn't help but let out a vocal honk "hello".
I don't think the garden will be going in anytime soon though.
GD snow, no chance of fire bans in Sherwood Park this spring.
