Default PAL exam book or Questions FOR FREE

Hi there,

Does anyone know where to pick up the review material for free? I can not seem to find a link online. I got every medical school text book for free that way and can not believe that there is not one out there.

I tell you one thing, as soon as I find it I will post it for everyone. Its dumb enough that this thing even exists; and even more so to be charged for it!

Default Practise Exams

Here are some Free Practise exams. But if you know even the slightest thing about how to handle and discharge firearms safely, you'll pass with flying colors. http://www.gunexams.com/

If you haven't handled firearms extensively, especially handguns, I would respectfully suggest that you take the course. There is a written and a practical portion of the test where you have to prove that you can handle these safely. Just my opinion though.

While the Firearms Registry is unnecessary, inconvenient and an abhorrent waste of money; the safety instructions in the PAL textbooks are certainly not dumb. Knowledge is never a bad thing. I've seen some real gems handling firearms who need a major brush up on their safe handling habits.

At what point does your frugality overtake your common sense regarding safety?

I took mandatory hunter training in the 70s. The instructor didn't warn us about squibs or barrel obstructions.... It was only when taking PAL instruction that I learned about the hazards of an obstructed barrel.

From what I've seen in these rural parts, most of today's young hunters are safer than we were at their age, a few decades ago. The training has definitely gotten better.

Good links! For fun I tried one of the tests, took about 4 mins to do with 100% YAY. The one I had to guess on was what a green flag means at a shooting range.....been a long time since I was at an official range with a flags....but I got it right anyways.

Will definitly get the boys onto that site for practice, thanks for those.
