Amsoil but any synthetic will be great, just whatever you choose stick with it and use premium gas.

I also use Opti-2 and really like it. This year I will be adding Seafoam also. Told my brother about it last year and he says his more than 15 year old Eskimo auger idles beautifully like never before since starting the Seafoam.

Another vote for both opti2, and amsoil. Both good oil's, but I personaly run Amsoil synthedic in my auger, saws, and outboard with great success.

X2 on Amsoil. I picked up a 950 ml. bottle that will last about 20 years for how much of it I use.

I have tried different 2-stroke oils in the past and I know there's a difference when a quality synthetic is used. The small engines idle much better, rev up stronger and smoother and will blow far less smoke.

My Dirt Bike mix. Bel Ray H1R full synthetic! Best oil out there IMO. 40:1 with premium.

Amsoil professional 100/1, bought a 12 pack of 100ml bottles and I can mix it with 10 liters of gas no measuring oil. I run it in my husqvarna auger and stihl chainsaw. Opti is pretty good too. Just don't buy the cheap stuff, some people like to think there is no difference.

Been using Opti for years....

one thing about fuel..... there was a show on TV last week and
there was a guy talking about prem vs reg gas. The geeks in the white
coats did all the tests etc. and there appears to be no diff. in the
performance of the more expensive premium . Higher octane doesnt
burn better or give a better fire etc. It slows down detonation and
that delays the blast in a more compressed area of the cyl. so that
means bigger BOOM !! They were saying that its important in older
Big Blocks etc. It apparently means nothing in todays car.

Did anyone see the same show ???

It means something for your warranty if the manufacturer specifies "premium only"

For the 10 liters of fuel that I don't even use all season, I will spend the extra few cents for premium...
