Default 2 Stroke

I am looking at purchasing a used boat and motor. Most seem to be 2stroke. Are there restrictions? I looked in the regs and couldn't see anything.
Thanks

Not in Canada that I am aware of. For your two stroke, just use the highest octane fuel and synthetic oil, or blend that is low ash.

Two Strokes operating hot do not cause the pollution issues when there is good combustion. I do not know how old the motor is, but the E Tec equipment is actually EPA compliant.

I have a 2008 Yamaha 20 HP 2 stroke. I really enjoy it, maintenance is simple enough. It also has great get up and go.

I enjoy the fact that I can transport the motor in any position I'd like and not need to worry about the oil.
