Born and raised in BC so I am a Canucks fan, but will say that you Oiler fans did it right tonight. The tribute to the Sedins early in the game, the cheering, and the respect shown at the end! Well done!

Ditto. Long time canucks fan. Very classy send off from the Oilers. Hopefully we can renew a competitive rivalry again one day. I think the oil will be much better next year. Canucks have a couple dog seasons ahead and then will be competitive again.

Not a nucks fan but the Sedins needed a classy send off for 2 truly class acts. Many a player could learn a thing or two from them as to how to carry themselves. It doesn’t go unnoticed by all fans of the game.

I also heard that the soon to be ‘Seattle Flames’ will move soon.

Burke just abandoned ship. Doesn’t want to be associated with killing hockey in Calgary.

Nothing more needs to be said.

That's because you have, literally, nothing else to talk about.

Must have missed when the new council invited Flames management to a meeting last week and the continued interest in pursuing the 2026 Olympic bid.

Flames aren't going anywhere.

What are you doing on AO? Shouldn't you be downtown for the draft parade?

That giant sigh you heard would have been Flames' GM Treliving.
If the Islanders, who own Calgary's 1st rnd pick, would have won the lottery draft, it would have gone down as one of the biggest bonehead moves ever by a Flames' GM. And there's been some beauties.

Just heard the Oilers are interviewing Gulutzan for an assistance coaching role. Maybe he can teach McLellan how to throw a stick. What a joke!

I wanna like the guy, but his personnel deployment decisions were questionable at best. To the extent there was speculation that he received instruction to put Brower on the PP to hopefully get him some points so he could be moved.

So tomorrow, I am cheering for Winnipeg. They look good on paper, they have had some good draft picks in recent years, and there is lots of potential for a win. However, deep down I don't think it is going to happen so I want to prepare myself for disappointment. Since you guys have been in a similar situation for years now, how do you deal with it? I am not really interested in turning to the bottle or smoking crystal meth like many of you have, but am open to any advice you have to offer.

I think Winnipeg can do it, they've alternated wins all series long, Winnipeg has won two in Nashville already, and on paper, I think they're the better team.
