This website is excellent for looking at various Alberta mountains then and now. From late 1800's pictures to present day pictures taken from the same spots.
The site was a little to figure out. A person can pick a
red pin on the map and choose a picture that comes up on the right side of the page...and then click on a 'comparison view' icon on the lower right side of the page. The photos are overlapped and you can move the bar on the picture left or right to change the picture from then to now. Interesting to look at the glaciers from around 1900 compared to present day. Or forests.
Enjoy. I know there are lots of people that enjoy the mountains.

Neat historically but also neat for the mountaineers of today too.
