Awesome bull, congrats! I'm not a great judge of elk, but I sure would guess that ones more than a 350.

That's a stud! congratulations Moosecaller. I was out there on opening day as well to show a friend of mine around who drew a cow tag and we were done pretty early also. If you would like the name of a B&C Measurer in Medicine Hat send me a PM and I will forward his contact info to you.

Default Outstanding Bull!

Outstanding bull Moosecaller!

I think that he'll go well over the 350 mark - I'm certain he'll be Boone and Crockett Awards, at a minimum - good on ya!

Can't wait to see more pics.

Congrats again,

Moosecaller, congratulations on a magnificent animal!

What makes this story even better, in my opinion, is that you spent the time scouting (even having the audacity to post the pictures and the zone on the internet... lots of shifty people about ), found the animals, spent some time evaluating and you were rewarded with a great trophy and memories to last a life time.

All your hard work and dedication paid off... with dividends. Eat well! Regards, Mike

hey JR yup 150 is near jenner , it is a new elk draw created this year, for the elk that wander out of the suffield british block, I seen 2 other elk with the one I got, I havnt heard of any more bulls taken yet but Im sure there will be, during my scouting trips I seen at least 15 other bulls outside the block.

Great bull MooseCaller, you were holdin the tag of a lifetime buddy, nice work!!! Been praying to the ol almighty on a nightly basis, for a crack at one of those first-hunt tags for next year, i think i have a great chance!! I would have loved to have seen the look on your face just after it all came unravelled!! Did ya cape him for a shoulder, or are ya doin a european on him??

keep a strain on er, pack.

pack I have already started the european mount thing, but I will be gettin a shoulder mount done, turn to the side, he didnt have a good cape as I think its too early so I will be on the hunt for a late season elk cape, I also will be on the hunt for a top notch taxidermist with references.
