Aussie visitor wishing to go Ice fishing in the next 10 days

Hi everyone, it is great to be in your country and on your forum. I landed in Calgary two days ago and am here till the 11th Jan. I would dearly love to go Ice fishing while I am here. Looked at a couple of guided tours but they seem very expensive. I suppose I am looking to take some advantage of your generosity and hopefully go out ice fishing with someone from your site. I am very happy to contribute to expenses and am also open to stay overnight if need be. Anxiously looking forward to any genuine offers.

I am sure that you will find more than a few offers come your way. Great group of guys on this site. As for an invite , I will PM you my contact info we can get you a seat on the next trip out. Either this weekend or the next.

Too bad I missed you today, I was out fishing all day today, and going to be working a college hockey tourney all weekend.

If you get in touch with sundancefisher he might invite you out to lake sundance, right in Calgary.

Sounds like a PCR trip might be in store, another AO weekend next weekend possibly? I did a lot of fishing in Oz when I lived there and you guys were great showing me stuff, I'd be happy to finally pay someone back.

I'll be going out this Sunday to Clear or PCR, if you don't mind sharing the back seats with our dog, PM me and we'll get something arranged. Hope you have some warm boots, it's a tad more chilly here than in Oz
