Default Friday's duck hunt

Had some fun hunting ducks yesterday. Was able to come home with 3 teal, 2 gadwall and a Canada goose. With all the rain lately, it made it tough to setup my layout blind near the edge of the pond. Once you lay down in it you couldn't see the decoys due to the swamp grasses. I think I need a layout blind, that can be put in the water. It was also a pain to have the wind keep changing directions. Seems like you learn something new about setting up each time you go out.

Looking at your dog...just a little more grey than mine, an 8 year old black lab, that just loves the hunt. He may be a little slower than before, but he still made a limit of retrieves last Saturday and again this morning.

Default Water blind

Ed the latest piece of kit for shooting at the waters edge are these plastic tubs. They are about 6 feet long and 10 inches deep with a gradual slope on the back. just cover them with what ever your shotting in or you can buy these new synthetic grasses to lay over you. FS

Hi Faststeel. Do you know where I can get one of these tubs?
