areas for geese nr Edmonton

Hey, I'm looking for an area near Edmonton for pass shooting geese (any kind). I don't know any landowners, nor do I have dog or boat.

are there any nice bottlenecks/flyways somewhere?

and does anyone know why there's a white goose hunt sundays ?? wish they would open a spring hunt for snows here though.....
