Default Burbank tomorrow.

Anyone fish this yet this year? gonna try out the new rod and wish for the best. any recomendations on what to use for flies? i was thinking just big streamers.

its very good right now the water is deep so there is a big area you can fish not just the usual deep spot, the gold eye are all hanging out along the far bank i was there 2 days ago and caught 2 burbot about a zillion goldeye and 2 decent walleyes another guy caught a brown trout to and the friggin jerk off kept it.

one guy was having good luck with green wooly bugger he was catching goldeyes and a walleye

i caught all my fish on a medium sized red devil and once that got stuck on the submerged tree in the middle my luck ran out

i was getting hits from the goldeye about every other cast for quite a while

there was also a very large swarm of stoneflys flying around

yea ive been catching lots there too but i always get stuck on that damn log sticking outta the water. lost so many hooks there so frustrating
