Default Pine lake..... Anything biting????

Me and a few buddies are heading south to pine in the next week and I am looking for tips to try and make a good weekend out of it?
Last few times I was there I was skunked..... but they are more optomistic so thats where were going.
Not going to keep anything but I would really love to make a good fishing trip out of it.
Any advice is gold so thanks in advance

Fish shallow the water is still fairly cold . In the past month or so Ive noticed maybe 1/4 of the fish that have spawned . That leaves alot for that havent . I fished in a tournament 2 weeks ago I guess it was at southern resiviour , and not one walleye we had caught had spawned yet still fat and full of eggs . Even the males we caught left us a creamy mess on the carpet on the boat .

I did okay last weekend. It's still slow, but I managed a few nice walleye. Like John said, shallow's working right now, I caught them in water 10 - 15 feet deep. Bring smelts.

Will be there this weekend, too. White Lund 1700 Pro-Sport, two old farts and two dogs. If you see us on the water, say hi

Nope, compared to me, he's just a young sprout.

Thank you for your kind reminder, Orv. I can always count on you to brighten my day

I ran into Ray a few weeks ago .. you were a no show. Can't be that you had a better offer, so where were you?

Stick to the bays, the one north across the lake from Scotty's
always has walleye in it, and the shore northwest of the bay,
with the cabins on it can be deadly. The shore with the weeds,
across the opening is good to troll. And dont forget to hit the
ends of the lake, east to the reeds and the standing pipe
and to the day launch, shallow in these spot.
Everything else is 14-16 ft of water. Good luck
TJ
