Default Sylvan Ice ?

Just wondering if anyone knows the ice situation on sylvan. Thanks

its gone on the south side of the lake, however the fishing season doesnt open up till may 21st

Sylvan Lake & tributaries – Walleye limit 0; Pike limit 3 over 63 cm; Perch limit 5; Lake Whitefish limit 5; Burbot limit 2 (Burbot limit 0 - Feb. 1 to Mar. 31).
the portion of lake southwest of a line drawn from the northeastern most tip of the landfill pier in Sylvan Lake Provincial Park located at NW 33-38-1-W5M due northwest to the point on the shoreline where the boundary between the town of Sylvan Lake and the Summer Village of Norglenwold meet the lake located at NE 32-38-1-W5M. Including all tributary streams.
Apr. 1 to June 30 and Nov. 1 to Dec. 10 – CLOSED
the remainder of the lake
Apr. 1 to May 14 and Nov. 1 to Dec. 10 – CLOSED
May 15 to Oct. 31 and Dec. 11 to Mar. 31 – OPEN

Guy asked about the ice. Why tell him when he can fish. that's a wee bit outta line. I'm going boating Sunday. Might even have a rod in the boat. Wanna give me a lecture too.

Im shure if he needed to know the regs, he would of asked if he didnt have a hard copy. Why must everyone jump on everyone, and assume that just because they ask for ice conditions, does not mean they are going to be fishing out of season.

Smoky it was posted in the fishing section so i thought he may have been fishing.
I missed last years Fishing Season by 6 days-I dont know what regs i was looking at but it was probibly wab's being it was right under it...

Yes I am for real, why not stay on topic. And answer the origional question asked, insted of changing the topic. Its only my $.02.
