These are pretty good. Had it for a year now and I've fished down at the forks while it was raining pretty hard, yet, I was able to stay dry all day. They also have light pants that are waterproof, too.

Get a coat that goes to the bottom of your back side. That way if you bend over to pick up a lure the water does not run down your back.
All rain wear is hot and sweaty when wet from rain as the water will cause the efficiency of the pores in breathables to go down considerably. If not getting hot and sweaty is important then make sure that your breathable still has good venting.
Gor tex still seems about the best for breathability and longevity IMHO.
After this find out what works for you. eg some like very tight cuffs esp for fly fishing as water running down your arms into your arm pits while casting is not fun. But others hate the tight cuffs.
God Luck

So I searched for along time for a system that will work for me on the West Coast. The requirement was for a suit that would work for boat fishing out of Winter Harbour, so cold, wet, rainy, windy etc.
The best I found (found bibs first at a Columbia discount store) that will breath, not hamper movement very much, allow sitting, active stuff, stand up to fish slime, stay water proof for a week, etc. was a Columbia bibs and a Cabelas guidewear jacket. I could not find both together at that time. They are not cheap, I paid about $400 a number of years ago for both.
They are my go to system now, around home I use just the jacket in rain, and after 10 years it is still like new. Both are very stern stuff.

I bought a Cabela's Guidewear Goretex rain jacket a few years ago and it is the best I have had. I believe that they go on sale in the US a lot more often than up here. When I bought mine it was on sale for $150 on the US sites and was $400 ish up here. I tried them on here, figured my size, and ordered online for much cheaper. Exchange will hit you a bit, but not $250 worth.
I didn't get the bibs at the time, but I wish I had. The color of the new ones is slightly different than my jacket, even though they are both black. I use a Simms Gore Tex pant that is pretty light and seems to work well. Had an initial issue with the leg zipper. Sent them back and they replaced them free of charge.

Cabelas guidewear is the best ive ever owned. I have now bought the winter version for ice fishing and its great to. My striker ice bibs are still my go to for when it is super cold though, that's off topic though haha.

I would have to vote for the Bass Pro Shops 100MPH gear or their Pro Qualifier set.
they are pricey, but IMO they are the best.
My Dad even converted from Cabela's Guidewear to them after using mine.
they are super comfortable for long days on the water, very durable, and breathe well. They have never let me down, even in a freak hail storm at a walleye tournament on Slave a couple years ago.
Just my 2 cents

Another vote for Cabela's guidewear - with Gore-tex.
Get the bibs, they will keep you much warmer than pants. I have used these for years, and they keep me dry even under the roughest of conditions. Guiding all summer on big water in Northern Saskatchewan, in a 19ft tiller - a guy needs to stay dry, and with the Cabela's guidewear - I do.

Everyone is stuck on fishing gear brands. Check a company called Gill. If you can sail to the South Pole and stay dry then might be worth a look!! That said I don't leave home without the Simms G4!!

Another vote for guidewear.
I wear mine all the time on my boat and have had no problems after 3 or 4 hard seasons of use.

I have the Cabelas Gortex Guideware for the colder heavier stuff and the Pac lite for good water proofing without the restriction and bulk.
