Default Vortex Razor HD LH

Anyone here using the 3-15 Razor Light Hunter? Glass looks great and scope is very light.

I have one in 1.5-8 and it is really nice. If your purpose is to have turrets that are nice to dial it wouldn't be my choice but he glass is really nice.

I looked at a Swaro Z3 and found the glass had a bit of distortion compared to other scopes in the same price range. Another thing that didn't stand out as being of particular good quality was the adjustment turrets, they sure felt cheap. Even Leupold's lower end models feel better. The Leica ER5 2-10 looks very nice but I'm not sure about the size/weight of it, it is a 30mm tube as well. I really like the glass and reticles available in the 3-15 Razor, almost sold on it but would like to check out a Zeiss Conquest HD as well before laying down the cash.

This gun to be scoped is a M70 Featherweight in 30-06.

Just mounted one on a buddies lightweight rig I put together for him. Great glass, lightweight as well. All in with a heavy base and rings as we couldn't find Talley's anywhere it still came in a hair over 7lbs. I compared it to the zeiss and to my eye it was more clear. The reticle is clean and very useable. They are an excellent light long range capable scope.

Just a heads up for anyone who might be interested in this scope. Great North Precision (basically a reboot of Grouse River) has the 3-15 with G4 BDC retical for $999, i have this exact scope and it is a very nice piece of glass.
