Ice around Grande Prairie

just wondering what lakes are good to get on.
I am looking to get out this weekend.

Might be out around Spring lake this weekend, I will let you know. Last weekend there was still open water infront of the launch and around the dock.

yup there's ice north of GP, and about a foot and a half of snow.

Joe the fishing wasn't prime and I know sturgeon is thin on the ice, not going back there for a couple of weeks. Snipe has good ice 6-8 inches. Also was working in the spring lake area and people have been out there fishing.

Hit Spring today. No love saw a hog swim by but not interested in the offering. Heading to Snipe in the morning for a try at perch and pike. Maybe stop by Swan to have a look around too.
